97.5 The Fanatic and Phillies Nation's Pat Gallen reported the news of the surgery via Twitter.
Gallen also tweeted that the former catcher and Wall of Fame member will need three to four weeks to get over the surgery, but that the time timetable for a full recovery is uncertain.
Daulton was awake during the seven-hour surgery and was talking with his family and the doctor afterwards.
Daulton is in good spirits, which is no surprise given the encouraging news that the tumors aren't there anymore.
