The Phillies came into Sunday's game trying to avoid a sweep from division leading Braves. With the offensive struggles the teams has had, wins have been few and far between. Sunday night's ESPN game was no different, as the Phillies lost 4-1.

Cliff Lee took the mound against the Braves. Alex Wood pitched for the Braves

In the first inning, the Braves got to Lee with a two-RBI single from the National League leading hitter Chris Johnson.

The Phillies got their only run of the game in the third inning, when Carlos Ruiz scored on a ground-out by Michael Young, after nearly hitting a home run which was reviewed.

In the next half inning, the Braves had their own reviewed home run, when B.J. Upton smacked a ball to left. The umpires also reviewed the play and gave Upton a single. He later scored on an RBI single by Jason Heyward.

Justin Upton hit an RBI single later in the same inning.

There was no more scoring for the rest of the game and there were only two more hits by the Phillies offense.

Craig Kimbrel set down the Phillies in the bottom of the ninth, recording his third save of the series.

Alex Wood got the win and is 2-2. Cliff Lee falls to 10-5 with a loss. Kimbrel records his 34th save of the of the season.
